A visual ecosystem for a modern private members workspace

Branding and design support for talks, podcasts and member-led events at Old Bond Store.

Old Bond Store is not a typical co-working space. Behind historic oak doors in the heart of the city, it offers a private, member-led environment designed for business owners and executives who value connection, conversation and considered growth. More than just a place to work, it creates the conditions for natural introductions and meaningful collaboration.
We were approached to build on Old Bond Store’s existing identity by creating a set of sub-brands for their growing programme of events and initiatives.

This included naming and design for talks, networking evenings and a members’ podcast, along with supporting materials such as posters and social media assets

The strategy behind the sub-brands was to create a set of identities that could stand confidently on their own, while still feeling unmistakably part of the Old Bond Store world. Each one needed to be clean, professional and purpose-led, reflecting the high standards and considered tone of the parent brand.

Visual consistency was key, but not at the expense of individuality. The design system allowed each initiative, whether a talk, a podcast or a networking evening, to have its own presence while contributing to the broader identity of the space. This approach helped reinforce Old Bond Store’s role as a hub for ambitious professionals, without diluting the clarity or strength of the core brand.

Each sub-brand was developed as a distinct expression of its purpose, while staying clearly connected to the wider Old Bond Store identity. The concept stage was focused on exploring how much character each initiative could take on without losing the tone and elegance of the parent brand.

We explored a range of directions to find the right balance between individuality and consistency. Early sketches and layout studies helped test structure, naming and brand cohesion, setting a clear foundation for the identities to grow from.

Each sub-brand was developed into a refined identity that felt distinctive yet unmistakably part of the Old Bond Store world. From OBS Radio to Spark Catcher and 4 ’til 7 Club, the final designs captured the personality of each initiative while holding a consistent level of quality and tone.

We built out supporting material to bring the identities to life, including posters, digital assets and social media graphics to promote each event or series. The result is a cohesive set of brand extensions that feel aligned, purposeful and ready to grow with the community they serve.
